A Friday Quote: Part 16

     Hello, delightful friends!

I am continuing my fun event.  It is called A Friday Quote, and I shall play this game every Friday from August through November.  Here's how it works:

IN THE COMMENTS BELOW:
Post a quote of something YOU wrote THIS week.
Or
Something you edited this week (of something you previous wrote).

Don't make the quote too long because I don't want you to spoil your story.  Probably 5 sentences or so would be a good amount.  But that is a guideline and not a rule.

You don't have to participate every week.  But you can participate any week that you write.

And it will be so much fun to see everybody's quotes.

And, for me, it will be a reward for writing this week.  :D

     Enjoy!

  1. My fist connected with his jaw with a dull thud, sparks and spit flew. He staggered, and dropped Snow. His look of shock melted into a humorless smirk, as he spat out blood

  2. From my NaNo novel:

"So we just need to go in, play ten songs, and get out without drawing any attention."
"We're traveling minstrels! We are practically walking around, playing a song and singing LOOK AT US!"

    1. Lol, that's true! I love that your working a scene from the minstrels point of view. I want to read your story now.

  3. “It’s hard to know that you’ll never remember me.”

I scratch the words into the dirt at my feet and then bite the tip of my bark-turned-pencil, trying to chase away my tears with the disgusting taste of tree.
