"You're more poet than anything." I folded my arms and glared at Ian. He sat perched on the edge of the roof, dressed like an adventurer. I coveted every part of his outfit -- the breezy shirt made of course cloth, the sturdy breeches, the leather boots that laced up to his calves, the dagger on his hip. Tomorrow he would set sail to a life I craved more than anything. But did he appreciate his opportunities? No. And I hated him for it. "Do you despise poets, Ingrid?" WAIT. That means....March is almost over??? *runs around screaming* I can't believe it. Can't wait to see how the contest goes!!!
ReplyDeleteJulian, I'm so excited I can hardly stand myself. And after such a "long wait", it's hard to believe that we're going to find out this Saturday!!!! Four and a half more days!!!!
DeleteCan't wait! Snow white as a boy or the evil Queen as a King.
ReplyDeleteYep, it would be totally awesome to see Prince Snow White in the collection this year. And I agree -- an evil King would be pretty cool, too.
DeleteAnd maybe the 7 dwarves should be female -- like a tribe of Amazons. That would be different!
Oooh, I like all of those ideas--both of you! And I'm sorry I'm behind on your countdown posts, Esther. :(
DeleteIt's okay! All those posts will be there waiting for you whenever you like! :)
